On 30 October 2026, Maersk announced temporary booking adjustments following disruption near the Strait of Hormuz and regional port congestion. The notice concerns its services to Khor Fakkan, Fujairah and selected Upper Gulf destinations.

Existing shipments require individual updates. Cargo in transit may be delayed, and new bookings depend on capacity. A revised booking does not automatically reserve space on a later sailing. This is a carrier-specific advisory, not a blanket closure of every service to the region.
