Terms of Service
Understand the services, charges, responsibilities and protections behind each shipment.
These Terms cover purchasing, collection, warehousing, fulfillment and international forwarding commissioned through FromChinaHub. “We” means the operator that accepts your order and provides the service; “you” means the customer. Read the charges, third-party transport, changes, refunds and liability provisions carefully. Browsing alone does not commission a paid service.
Acceptance and order terms
1.1 After having an opportunity to read and save these Terms, you may accept them by express agreement, confirmation of an order incorporating them, or another mutually recognized method. Browsing the website alone does not commission a paid service. Contract formation and effectiveness depend on applicable law and the agreement actually reached.
1.2 The confirmed order, quotation and verifiable communications determine the services, product specifications, charges, delivery arrangements and special requirements. The service provider and payment recipient must be identified before you confirm a transaction; contact support first if anything is unclear. Individually negotiated provisions take priority over corresponding general terms, subject to mandatory law.
1.3 Carrier, seller and platform names identify relevant services. The order explains who performs transport, purchasing or other stages. We must explain applicable third-party rules and the scope of the services for which we are responsible.
Accounts and authority
2.1 You must have the capacity required for the transaction and authority to act for any business you represent. Provide accurate identity, business and contact information, and update contact details, recipient information and authorized users when necessary.
2.2 Protect your account credentials and promptly report suspicious access or unauthorized activity. Each party’s responsibility depends on actual fault, ability to respond and applicable law; use of your account does not automatically make you liable for every loss.
Available services
3.1 Services may include China sourcing and purchasing assistance; supplier parcel collection and sample forwarding; receiving, basic checks, storage, packing, consolidation and splitting; picking and order fulfillment; and international forwarding arrangements. The accepted service order determines the actual scope.
3.2 FCL and LCL sea freight search results are indicative estimates. Staff must verify the cargo, route, schedule and charges before a quotation is confirmed. Direct forwarding, local sourcing and China ecommerce platform onboarding assistance require project-specific scope, eligibility and fee arrangements.
3.3 Third parties may perform transport, last-mile delivery or customs services. We must explain our scope and fulfill our own obligations in handling instructions, conveying information and providing reasonable assistance. Third-party involvement does not automatically exclude our liability for our own breach or fault.
Goods information and compliance
4.1 You must be entitled to deal with the goods and provide accurate descriptions, quantities, values, materials, uses, brands and destinations. Batteries, liquids, powders, food, tea and used electronics require specific disclosure. Acceptance depends on applicable rules, channel requirements and verification.
4.2 Do not commission unlawful, infringing or prohibited goods, conceal hazardous properties, or request false declarations. Confirm permits, certifications and transport conditions for restricted goods before purchasing or sending them. We may decline unlawful instructions or goods that fail disclosed requirements and must handle them lawfully.
Purchasing assistance and goods checks
5.1 Confirm the product links, specifications, quantities, budget and delivery requirements. Purchasing proceeds after quotation review, your confirmation and the agreed payment. Material changes in price, availability or delivery conditions require renewed confirmation; we must not substitute goods or add unapproved charges without authority.
5.2 Purchasing commissions, per-link deposits, domestic freight and negotiated savings arrangements follow the purchasing rules and quotation clearly presented and accepted beforehand. Customer cancellations may be treated differently from seller non-supply. Charges incurred and deposit treatment must have an explained basis and comply with applicable law.
5.3 Basic checks normally cover visible condition, quantity or agreed items. They are not authentication, comprehensive functional testing, food safety testing or import certification. Requirements for samples, used goods, special inspection or after-sales support must be agreed in advance. We remain responsible for properly performing the checks we promise.
5.4 Assistance with returns or seller after-sales requests does not guarantee seller approval of a refund. We must relay outcomes promptly. Loss caused by our own purchasing errors or failure to follow confirmed instructions is handled according to actual responsibility.
Collection, warehousing and fulfillment
6.1 Give suppliers the correct warehouse address and customer identification, and submit required arrival notices. A notice does not establish physical receipt or inventory. Recorded quantities, weight, dimensions and photographs must be based on verified receipt. Both parties should promptly reconcile discrepancies.
6.2 Consolidation, splitting, repacking, reinforcement, sample forwarding and dispatch follow confirmed instructions. These operations may change packaging, weight, volume and charges. Additional charges or special handling require an explanation and appropriate confirmation. Copying a waybill or creating a system record does not create physical stock.
6.3 Eligible forwarding and fulfillment goods receive 90 days of free storage. Receipt counts as day 1; applicable storage charges begin on day 91. Timing for batches, consolidation, splitting and re-entry follows the specific rules published and applicable when the service is commissioned. Direct forwarding that does not enter our warehouse incurs no storage charge from that warehouse.
6.4 For overdue storage, unpaid charges or loss of contact, we must make reasonable efforts to notify you and explain charges and available options. Disposal requires a lawful basis and necessary procedures. Overdue storage does not automatically transfer ownership to us or permit arbitrary disposal or destruction.
6.5 If you appoint your own forwarder, warehouse or collection agent, we perform the agreed handover and keep necessary records. Subsequent services you commission directly from that third party follow your agreement with it. We remain responsible for our own handover errors.
Quotations, billing and additional charges
7.1 Freight commonly depends on the channel, destination postcode, goods category, actual or volumetric weight, dimensions and surcharges. Applicable billing rules must be disclosed before confirmation. Online calculations and sea freight estimates are not final settlement amounts; final charges depend on verified information and the confirmed quotation.
7.2 Goods costs, purchasing, receiving, handling, materials, storage, freight, insurance, duties and destination charges should be identified separately. Inclusion of remote-area, oversize, overweight, fuel, inspection or return charges depends on the confirmed quotation. Unincluded items should be flagged rather than assumed to be covered by an all-inclusive price.
7.3 If measurements or external conditions require a price adjustment, we must explain its basis and, where feasible, obtain confirmation before taking actions that incur additional charges. Updating a price list does not permit arbitrary retrospective changes to fixed, confirmed charges.
Payments, balances and reconciliation
8.1 Payment methods, currencies, exchange rates and fees follow the conditions disclosed and confirmed before payment. Uploading payment evidence does not establish receipt of funds. Balance credits depend on verified receipt and accounting; you may request reconciliation of discrepancies.
8.2 Account balances pay permitted business charges and are not investment or guaranteed-return products. Restrictions associated with a funding source must be disclosed beforehand. Unused-balance refunds follow clause 11; no unrestricted withdrawal facility or fixed arrival time is promised.
Transport, declarations and delivery
9.1 Verify recipient details, contacts, the full address, postcode and declarations, and supply required clearance documents promptly. Commercial invoices and similar documents reflect supplied and verified information. System-generated documents do not certify legality or duty-free eligibility. We remain responsible for our own input or processing errors.
9.2 Unless expressly guaranteed, transit estimates are for planning and may be affected by flights, sailings, customs, holidays and destination conditions. We do not guarantee clearance or tax exemption for every shipment. Tax-inclusive or similar channels must clearly specify their scope, exclusions and allocation of responsibility.
9.3 If incorrect addresses, refusal, incomplete clearance or similar issues cause storage or return, we must promptly notify you and assist. Reasonable costs are allocated according to disclosed rules and the actual cause; costs arising from our fault cannot all be shifted to you.
Declared value, insurance and protection
10.1 Declared value, carrier liability limits and insured amounts are different. Declaring a value does not establish insurance or guarantee payment of that amount after a loss.
10.2 If insurance is selected, we must provide verifiable insurer details, applicable terms, coverage, sum insured, charges, deductibles and claim requirements for your confirmation. Coverage and payment follow the actual policy and applicable law. Non-insurance protection must not be represented as insurance.
10.3 Choosing not to insure does not remove rights against a responsible party under law or a valid contract. Freight or goods insurance and its rates depend on the selected channel’s actual quotation and terms. These Terms create no uniform site-wide compensation promise.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
11.1 Request changes or cancellation early through a Ticket or support. We must check progress and explain available options. For goods already purchased, work performed, dispatch or irreversible charges, actual, reasonable and substantiated costs must be disclosed. Refunds follow law and the accepted specific rules.
11.2 Payments for unprovided services with no legally payable costs must be refunded as agreed. We cannot categorically deny refunds or compensation for our breach merely because a third party refuses a refund. Properly performed, payable services may be settled according to law.
11.3 Fulfillment dispatch interception has a specific rule: CNY 2.50 is charged when each interception request is submitted. Under the specific rules clearly disclosed and accepted beforehand, this fee is non-refundable whether interception succeeds or fails. After staff confirm successful interception, 95% of that shipment’s freight is refunded; incurred handling and interception fees are not refunded. This is not a universal cancellation rule and does not exclude legally required refunds or compensation for our failure to provide the agreed service or other breach.
11.4 Unused balances and other refundable amounts must be processed lawfully and promptly after payable charges are reconciled. We must explain the amount, refund route and expected progress; arrival depends on the payment channel. Funds must not be withheld without a lawful basis, and undisclosed refund penalties must not be imposed.
Freight coupons and referral rewards
12.1 Freight offers apply only to eligible freight, not goods costs, handling, storage, packaging, insurance, taxes or other service charges. A maximum of one coupon applies per waybill, without stacking with other freight offers. Eligibility thresholds use the applicable freight amount before discounts.
12.2 Coupons promised as permanently valid have no expiry. They are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Deductions cannot exceed eligible freight, and unused coupon value is not returned. You choose whether to use a coupon; original and discounted freight should be visible when the transport option is confirmed.
12.3 Welcome and referral rewards follow the published conditions at the time of entitlement. Referral rewards require the new customer to register successfully, open their account and verify their email; the same new customer cannot generate duplicate rewards. False identities and self-referrals must not be used to obtain rewards. Corrections of irregular rewards require an explanation and a review channel.
12.4 Campaign changes generally apply to subsequent participation and must not remove validly earned coupons or expressly promised rights without justification.
Issues, claims and liability
13.1 Report shortages, damage, misdispatch or other issues promptly. Keep packaging, labels, photos, receipt records and reasonably required value evidence. We must assist with investigation and explain applicable claims procedures. Carrier and insurance deadlines should be disclosed before service selection; undisclosed deadlines do not automatically extinguish statutory rights.
13.2 Each party is responsible according to actual fault, causation, evidence of loss and applicable law, and should reasonably mitigate further loss. We do not exclude our own responsibility by claiming no liability or sole carrier responsibility. A third party’s claim rejection does not automatically determine our liability.
13.3 If transport-specific liability limits lawfully apply, their basis and scope must be clearly highlighted beforehand. No limitation excludes liability that law prohibits limiting, including non-excludable personal injury liability or property loss caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
Disruptions and force majeure
14.1 Where events may affect services, we must notify you, explain the impact and mitigate loss as soon as reasonably feasible. Whether force majeure applies, and any resulting relief, depend on law and actual causation. Ordinary delays, price changes or normal business difficulties are not automatically force majeure.
14.2 Suspension for unlawful activity risks, account security or overdue payment requires a reasonable basis and notice where feasible and legally permitted. Suspension or termination does not automatically remove duties to reconcile and properly handle funds, stored goods and existing obligations.
Personal information and materials
15.1 We process relevant information only as necessary for services, account administration, payment reconciliation, support and legal duties, with safeguards proportionate to risk. Disclosure to necessary carriers, warehouses, payment or customs service providers requires a lawful basis and compliance with applicable notice and other requirements.
15.2 International shipping may require overseas recipients, delivery or clearance parties to receive information. Cross-border personal information transfers require applicable notices and compliance procedures, and separate consent where law requires it. These Terms do not replace a required privacy notice or separate consent.
15.3 Contact support to request access, correction, deletion or other applicable information rights. We must explain the basis for retention required by law, unsettled orders or disputes. Product images and business materials may only be used as needed for services and within lawful authorization; uploading does not automatically transfer ownership.
Changes and termination
16.1 Important changes and their effective date must be notified reasonably in advance. New material obligations or restrictions require any legally necessary acceptance. Confirmed orders generally retain the terms applicable at confirmation unless the parties agree otherwise or law requires otherwise.
16.2 On account closure or the end of the relationship, the parties must reconcile outstanding orders, charges, refunds and goods handover. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations, or confidentiality, information protection and dispute obligations that must continue under law.
Governing law, disputes and languages
17.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China except where other rules mandatorily apply. This does not exclude non-waivable consumer protections. Disputes may first be discussed with support. If unresolved, either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
17.2 Chinese and English versions use corresponding clause numbers. Interpretation differences should be resolved with reference to the specific order, the parties’ actual intention and applicable law, without using language differences to exclude statutory rights. Invalidity of one provision does not automatically invalidate other independently enforceable provisions.
